Sunnyvale Girls Softball League is a youth sports organization established to educate and develop softball skills, sportsmanship and character through the game of softball. 
 
Our regular season begins with team selection in February and ends the end of May. We also have a more competitive travel ball program (Sunnyvale Shockwave) that runs in June/July and September/October.

Coaches Corner

SGSL is always looking for new coaches.  Especially in the younger Divisions (6U/8U).  Not sure you know enough about softball to coach a team?  No problem - we do the training.  All of our coaches learn basic coaching skills as well as how to teach softball skills.  The best time to start is now!

Field Locations

Want to know where our fields are located?  Click here.  All of the "interleague" fields have links to MapQuest maps.  In addition, there is a satellite view of Ortega Park so you can see where the three fields are located.

Umpire News

Sunnyvale Shockwave is SGSL's post season travel team.  These teams play 5-7 local tournaments durning the months of June/July and September/October (more competitive level than the regular season).  Click here to learn more.

Player Evaluations
Player Evaluations will  be held for all Divisions 10U and above on Saturday February 6th at Ortega Park.

Opening Day is Saturday, March 13, 2010!
8:00 a.m.    Team Pictures
10:15 a.m.  Opening Day Ceremonies begin
11:30 a.m.  Games begin (except 6U Division)
 
Snack Shack will be open all day.
